Açaí bowls are never overrated to begin with, but CHOCOLATE ones? Boo boo, count me in. This chocolate bowl was about as paleo as it gets, filled with healthy fats and a thick/creamy consistency that I’m in love with lately! Recipe below!
A sweet and chocolatey twist on the standard açaí bowl, easy to adjust to your likings and even make into a chocolate smoothie instead!
- 3/4 cup coconut milk
- 1 Tbsp almond butter
- 1 avocado
- 1 frozen banana
- 3 strawberries
- 1 tsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- Gluten-free granola
- Cacao nibs
- Hemp seeds
- Chia seeds
- In a blender, add coconut milk, almond butter, avocado, banana, strawberries, and cocoa powder
- Blend until smooth (about 2 minutes), and pour into a bowl. The texture should be fairly thick
- Top with desired toppings, and enjoy!
