My favorite vegetables are brussels sprouts and I’m not ashamed of it so I paired it with bacon and I think it’s genius. That was a run-on. Let’s go.
1 pound brussel sprouts, rinsed
1 pound bacon
Parmigiano-Reggiano, or any shredded cheese of your choice
Juice of 1 lemon
Salt + pep
1. Shave your brussel sprouts! Cut off the ends and either put them through a mandolin, or slice them super thin with a knife
2. Cook your bacon! I hope this part’s obvious
3. Parmigiano-Reggiano is my favorite cheese to cook with, so I grated it with my favorite Microplane tool
4. Mix together, chill (the salad, not you) (well, you too), and enjoy!
